This policy explains what we do with your personal data. It is short because we collect very little.
The data controller is Pixli Org, Steenstrups Gate 3B, 0554 Oslo, Norway. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@pixli.dev.
If you reserve a Pixli, we collect:
Lawful basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the reservation form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it — see section 6.
We do not collect payment details, because reserving costs nothing.
This site loads Google Analytics (property G-GGD81LYNKB), provided by Google Ireland Limited. It sets cookies in your browser and records which pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and how you arrived, so that we can see whether anyone is reading the site. We use it in aggregate. We do not send Google your email address or anything else you typed into the form.
This site also loads the Meta pixel, a piece of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited's measurement code. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Meta your IP address, the pages you view here, and the fact that a reservation was made, so that we can tell which of our adverts led people to Pixli. Meta acts as an independent controller for that data and may combine it with a Facebook or Instagram account it recognises.
We do not send Meta your email address, or anything else you typed. When you reserve, Meta is told that a reservation happened, not who made it.
If you would rather not be measured this way, browser tracking protection or any standard content blocker stops both tags loading, and the site and the reservation form work normally without them. You can also control how Meta uses the data in your Meta ad preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with Google's browser add-on.
We use a small number of service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement and each handling data only on our instructions:
Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, take it elsewhere, restrict how we use it, and object to our use of it. You may also withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email hello@pixli.dev. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and we will not ask you why.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Norway that is Datatilsynet.
We keep your email address until you ask us to delete it, or until 24 months after Pixli either ships or is discontinued — whichever comes first. After that the record is deleted.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on managed infrastructure with access limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we hold very little and we intend to keep it that way.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you about it.
